Bernd Kessler

Bernd Kessler (1958) holds a Master of Business Administration from the City University of Bellevue, Washington, USA and is a graduate in mechanical engineering. He is Group CEO of SR Technics.

Bernd Kessler began his professional career when he joined the German company AlliedSignal Aerospace GmbH in 1984. He gained extensive experience in various roles within Europe and overseas. In 1994 he joined AlliedSignal Aerospace Services and was appointed managing director of the company’s North America Components subsidiary. Following AlliedSignal’s merger with Honeywell, Bernd Kessler was named managing director of Honeywell Aftermarket Services for Europe, the Middle East and Asia. In 1999 he was appointed Vice President & General Manager at Honeywell Aerospace in Phoenix, Arizona (USA), with responsibility for the Honeywell Aftermarket Services global business unit and its 25 locations worldwide.

Prior to joining SR Technics he spent three years from 2004 to 2007 with MTU Aero Engines AG in Munich, Germany, as CEO of the company’s Commercial Maintenance division and as a member of MTU Aero Engines’ management board. Bernd Kessler played a key role in MTU’s successful IPO of 2005.

In January 2008 Bernd Kessler joined the SR Technics Group as Group CEO.
