SR Technics’ Business Development team welcomes Anisa Diwakar
SR Technics, a world leading MRO service provider, is pleased to announce that it has signed a contract with Edelweiss Air, the Swiss leisure airline, to upgrade the cabin experience on four of the carrier’s A340-300s. All work will take place in the MRO’s Center of Excellence for Cabin Modifications in Zurich over the next two years.
The first of the four aircraft arrived at the SR Technics facilities in October 2016, and it took off after 37 days of refurbishment to Cape Town, providing a new inflight experience to passengers. During the project, the aircraft went through a complete interior redesign including the installation of new seats, galleys and also new / modified lavatories. A programmable LED mood light system was also installed to improve the cabin illumination. The renewed cabin comes with three classes – economy max, business, and economy – designed with leisure travelers’ needs in mind. In addition, travelers will benefit from the Panasonic eXLite inflight entertainment system, which offers audio and video on demand as well as games and other entertainment to enhance the long-haul flight experience.
The contract with Edelweiss underlines the strong track record SR Technics has in complex cabin modification programs and on-time delivery.
