SR Technics’ Business Development team welcomes Olaf Christoph
SR Technics, a world leading MRO service provider, is pleased to announce that it has signed several service agreements with Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS). The contracts cover aircraft base & cabin maintenance, hangar & infrastructure and additional services for SWISS and Edelweiss, including 51 narrow-body and 35 wide-body aircraft.
As per the new contract, SR Technics will provide C-checks for the Airbus fleet, as well as back-shop and cabin maintenance support during scheduled A-Checks on A320Fam, A340, A330, B777 and Bombardier C Series aircraft. The MRO will also be supplying GSE maintenance and calibration services on test equipment under the new agreement as well as a range of other maintenance, infrastructure, storage and support services on site in Zurich and Geneva.
The fact that SR Technics has its home base in Zurich and a strong presence in Geneva played an important part in securing the new deal with Switzerland’s flagship carrier. The decision was also based on the prolonged collaboration between the two firms, the quality of SR Technics’ services and its reliable turnaround times even on tight deadlines.
“SWISS is seeking for a set-up securing highest flexibility, quality and market oriented pricing, therefore we are relying on a multi-supplier strategy. As CTO of SWISS I’m more than happy to have SR Technics in our supplier portfolio as a local service provider in Zurich and Geneva and to continue the collaboration in a very challenging environment”, said Peter Wojahn, CTO at SWISS International Airlines Ltd.
“We are very pleased to strengthen our strong partnership with SWISS”, said Jeremy Remacha, CEO at SR Technics. “We have a long history together and our continued collaboration is important for both our company and our employees. At SR Technics, we focus on tailoring our services to meet and exceed the needs of our clients, and thus growing our business. We look forward to supporting SWISS and delivering high quality MRO services at our home base in Switzerland.”
