SR Technics joins Pratt & Whitney’s GTF MRO Network
SR Technics, a world leading MRO service provider, is pleased to announce that it is extending the engine maintenance partnership with Ural Airlines for another six years, covering the airline’s CFM56-5B fleet.
The new contract was signed in December 2017, and services on the carrier’s engines are set to begin in the second quarter of 2018. All work will be done at the SR Technics facilities in Zurich. The proven service level of SR Technics’ services under the previous GTA, which was signed in 2014, was a key factor in winning the new deal, along with the MRO’s flexible approach and competitive offer to support the airline’s maintenance requirements.
“SR Technics’ expertise, high-quality services and efficient approach for our CFM56-5B fleet is much appreciated and we are pleased to expand our Engine Service business further,” said Andrey Melnikov, Head of Budget Planning and Material Support at Ural Airlines.
“We are very excited about extending our partnership with Ural Airlines. This agreement strengthens our existing relationship with the company,” says Michael Sattler, Chief Commercial Officer at SR Technics. “This is a further proof of our capacity to adapt our service portfolio to the needs of our customers worldwide. We look forward to working with Ural Airlines and supporting their maintenance needs.”
SR Technics has over 50 years of Engine Services experience, including a strong track record of more than 4,300 shop visits. Thanks to the extensive in-house repair capability, the company can offer short turnaround times and a tailor-made customer service.
