Zurzach Gemeinde delegation visits SR Technics facilities
On June 11th, SR Technics had the pleasure of hosting a delegation of representatives from Zurzach Gemeinde at its facilities in Zurich.
The occasion provided a valuable opportunity to exchange ideas and share SR Technics’ long-term vision. This project underscores the strong alignment and effective collaboration between SR Technics and local stakeholders.
Throughout the visit, SR Technics showcased how its shopfloor operations function in practice, highlighting the company’s advanced capabilities, streamlined processes, and a strong commitment to quality and continuous improvement. Among the participants were six representatives from Gemeinde Zurzach - Andi Meier, Mayor, Franzisca Zölly, Vice Mayor, Rolf Stettler, Member of the Municipal Council, Heiri Rohner, Member of the Municipal Council, Cyrill Tait, Member of the Municipal Council, and Martin Süss, Finance Department, who were warmly welcomed by the SR Technics team and took an active part in the day’s discussions and activities.
“Gemeinde Zurzach has demonstrated strategic foresight and a clear commitment to supporting sustainable industrial growth,” said Owen McClave, CEO of SR Technics. Pierre Berthelot, General Manager of the Zurzach site, echoed his sentiment, and added “We are proud to move forward with such a future-oriented partner and to be building a long-term presence in the region".
As preparations for the new facility in Zurzach, Canton Aargau, continue to progress, SR Technics is laying the groundwork for an expansion that will allow it to respond more effectively to increasing demand for both new-generation engines (GTF and LEAP) and mature engines (CFM56 and PW4000).
